PURPOSE: An automatic dynamic home page building system and method is provided to automatically generate various scripts in a server according to an environment designated by a user, and construct the generated script on a user server for operating the home page. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a controller of a local PC collecting information on a user server, such as a kind of a server, an OS, or a kind of a DBMS if a user inputs an URL and an IP address of the user server(100), the user selecting element functions to be offered in the home page(110), the user selecting detailed specifications on the individual element function(120), the controller loading templates corresponding to the detailed specifications and a flow control template corresponding to the element function(130), the controller analyzing source data of the template and generating source codes appropriate for the element function(140), the controller generating script files by putting an extension for the kind of the script language(150), the controller checking if a database, a DSN and a table exist(160-210), the controller transmitting the script file, stored in a memory, to the user server(230), and the user checking if the transmitted script file is normally executed in a web browser(240).
