Summary:PURPOSE: A device for assuming an overflow rate of terminal to terminal in telephone network is provided to be capable of securing valuable reference data by exactly assuming the overflow rate. CONSTITUTION: An overflow rate assuming apparatus comprises a test signal generating part(1), a test signal driving part(2) and a pass signal collecting part(3). The test signal generating part(1) generates a test signal necessary to assume the overflow rate. The test signal driving part(2) tests signal routing through a virtual telephone network, in which a probability value for distributing the test signal according to each node is set. The pass collecting part(3) collects the test signal passed by probability control of the test signal driving part(2).
