PURPOSE: To obtain a good and stable passing property by suppressing a mutual adverse effect of tension variance, etc., of a metal plate between an inlet side section, an outlet side section and a rolling mill, in a steel process line control device which is arranged with a pickling bath to a rolling mill inlet side and a looper to an outlet side and in which a metal plate is continuously passed and treated. CONSTITUTION: Bridle rolls 14, 15 at front/back of a rolling mill 13 and the rolling mill 13 are respectively arranged with motors, a speed and tension of a metal plate 18 is controlled by the respective motor, the motor control of either of the bridle rolls 14, 15 at front/back of the rolling mill 13 is applied to the speed control to keep a motor rotation speed to a prescribed speed command value. 압연기 입구측에 산세조(酸洗槽)를 출구측에 루퍼를 구비해서 금속판을 연속적으로 통판해서 처리하는 철강 프로세스 라인제어장치에서 입구측, 출구측 섹숀과 압연기간에서의 금속판의 장력변동 등의 상호의 악영향을 억제하고 양호한 안정된 통판성을 얻는다. 압연기(13)전후의 부라이들(14),(15) 및 압연기(13)에 각각 모터를 구비해서 이 각 모터제어에 의한 금속판(18)의 속도 및 장력을 제어하고, 압연기(13)의 전후 어느쪽의 부라이들(14),(15)의 모터제어가 모터의 회전속도를 일정한 속도지령치로 보존하는 속도제어로 한다.
