Summary:PURPOSE: A ceramic cleaner capable of maintaining excellent detergency over a long period of time without generating problems about drain pollution by positioning a ceramic cleaner containing a detergent component in a washing machine is provided which can be effectively used for clothes. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic cleaner(3) obtained by allowing a ceramic material comprising silicon oxide and aluminium oxide as a main component to support a compound such as sodium oxide, sodium hydroxide, potassium oxide, potassium hydroxide, silver, copper, sintering at 500 to 700°C, mixed with sodium metaphosphate and sintered at less than 400°C is inserted into a vessel(2) with holes and placed in a washing machine.
