Summary:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a color filter for a plasma display panel is provided to ensure simple production process and improve color purity by forming the color filter in the lower side of a front substrate by using a dry electrophotography. CONSTITUTION: Shared electrodes(22) and scan electrodes(23) are formed in the lower side of a front substrate(21). Address electrodes(27) are formed on the upper side of a rear substrate(26) opposed to the front substrate(21). A polymer is coated on the surface of pigments for a color filter. The pigments are charged, the shared and scan electrodes(22,23) are applied with a voltage of negative pole to that of the pigments, the address electrodes(27) are applied with a voltage with same pole to that of the pigments. The pigments are injected between the front and rear substrates(21,26) for form a color filter(210). The color filter(210) is plasticized to remove the conductive polymer layer and the polymer.
