Summary: | PURPOSE: A method for controlling priority on optional access channels is provided to control the priority order of every connection request in order to allocate traffic channels based upon the priority order. In addition, a recording medium is provided which can read a software program stored at a computer for realizing the method. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling priority is applied to the communication system of an optional access channel system. A preamble section representing the priority orders of each terminal is set up. The transmission of optional access channel bursts according to the priority order of the each terminal is controlled. The each terminal confirms whether the self-priority order is a first order. If so, an optional access channel burst is transmitted. If not, a preamble signal representing a higher order is detected, to re-perform a traffic allocation request in a next optional access channel slot. And if the preamble signal is not detected, the optional access channel burst is transmitted. |
