Summary:PURPOSE: An oxidation process of olefin is provided for high selectivity to the olefin oxide at good conversions of the olefin. The catalyst is readily regenerated, and the time between catalyst regeneration is long. CONSTITUTION: A process and catalyst directly oxidize an olefin having three or more carbon atoms, such as propylene, by oxygen to the corresponding olefin oxide, such as propylene oxide. The process involves contacting the olefin with oxygen under reaction conditions in the presence of hydrogen and in the presence of a catalyst. The catalyst comprises gold on a titanosilicate, preferably a micro porous or mesoporous titanosilicate, such as, TS-1, TS-2, Ti-beta, Ti-ZSM-48, or Ti-MCM-41. 프로필렌과 같은 탄소수가 3 이상인 올레핀을 산소에 의해 프로필렌 옥사이드와 같은 상응하는 폴레핀 옥사이드로 직접 산화시키는 방법 및 이를 위한 촉매가 기재되어 있다. 본 발명의 방법은 올레핀을 수소 및 촉매가 존재하는 반응 조건하에 산소와 접촉시킴을 포함한다. 촉매는 티타노실리케이트, 바람직하게는 미소기공 또는 중간 기공의 티타노실리케이트(예: TS-1, TS-2, Ti-베타, Ti-ZSM-48 또는 Ti-MCM-41) 상의 금을 포함한다. 우수한 올레핀 전환률에서 올레핀 옥사이드에 대한 선택도가 높다. 촉매는 쉽게 재생되며 촉매 재생 사이의 시간은 길다.
