PURPOSE: A bitumen composition is prepared which has a good low temperature performance and a good high temperature rutting resistance, and has improved resistance to solvency of petroleum products. CONSTITUTION: A bitumen composition comprising a bitumen component, a thermoplastic rubber in an amount of less than 8 wt.% and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer in an amount of less than 5 wt.%, both based on total bitumen composition, wherein the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer has a vinyl content in the range of from 20 to 35 wt.%, based on copolymer; a process for preparing such bitumen composition; and the use of such bitumen compositions in asphalt mixtures for road applications 본 발명은 비튜멘 성분, 총 비튜멘 조성물 기준 8 중량% 미만의 열가소성고무 및 5 중량% 미만의 에틸렌-비닐아세테이트 공중합체 (상기 에틸렌-비닐아세테이트 공중합체는 공중합체 기준으로 20 내지 35 중량% 범위의 비닐 함량을 갖는다)로 이루어진 비튜멘 조성물; 이러한 비튜멘 조성물 제조방법; 및 도로 시공용 아스팔트 혼합물에서 이러한 비튜멘 조성물의 용도를 제공한다.
