PURPOSE: A deflection coil of a deflection yoke and green feature improving using the same capable of recovering a left/right asymmetry feature of the deflection coil and optimizing green feature thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: The deflection coil of a deflection yoke comprising: a screen portion(41) wherein first and second grooves(43 and 45) asymmetrically curved to each other on a center axis of a window in a vent portion(41a) of the screen portion, widths of the first and second grooves(43 and 45) are different from each other, and areas of first and second grooves(43 and 45) are different from each other; a neck portion; and a window portion. 본 발명은 편향 요크의 편향 코일 및 그 편향 코일을 이용한 그린(Green) 특성 개선 방법에 관한 것으로, 스크린부, 네크부 및 윈도우를 가진 편향 요크의 편향 코일에 있어서, 상기 스크린부(41)의 밴트부(41a)상에 상호 비대칭으로 곡면 절곡된 한쌍의 홈부들(43)(45)이 형성되어 있고, 그 홈부들(43)(45)은 편향 코일(40)의 스크린부(41)의 밴트부(41a)상에 프레스를 가하여 상호 비대칭으로 곡면 절곡시켜 형성한 후, 상기 각 홈부들(43)(45)의 넓이(w1)(w2) 및 깊이(d1)(d2)를 상호 독립적으로 성형하여 그린 특성을 조절함으로써, 편향 코일의 좌/우 비대칭에 의한 특성을 극복하면서 최적의 상태로 그린 특성을 개선할 수 있다.
