본 발명은 내마모성과 내산화성 뿐만 아니라 경도 특성 또한 우수한 절삭공구용 경질피막을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해, 본 발명에서는 경질기체 및 상기 경질기체 상에 형성되는 경질피막을 포함하고, 상기 경질피막은, 하기 [화학식 1]로 표시되는 조성 범위를 가지면서 입방정 구조를 가지는 제1 서브피막과, 하기 [화학식 2]로 표시되는 조성 범위를 가지면서 입방정 구조를 가지는 제2 서브피막이 교대 적층되는 구조인 절삭공구를 제공할 수 있다.
