The present invention relates to a timer with a new structure which allows various times to be conveniently combined and input by rotating the upper and lower parts of a main body and performs an interval alarm to sound an alarm when two input time values have elapsed. According to the present invention, the timer enables a user to rotate the upper case (11) and the lower case (12) to select a time value and operate input means (62, 63, 64) to select a mode. When a main body (10) is tipped over so that a surface on which the selected time value is printed faces upward, the timer is activated automatically and an alarm (40) is activated when the selected time has elapsed. Accordingly, the timer provides an advantage of enabling the user to input the time conveniently. 본 발명은 본체의 상하부를 회전시켜 다양한 시간을 편리하게 조합하여 입력할 수 있으면서, 입력된 2개의 시간값이 경과되면 알람을 울리는 인터벌알람을 실시할 수 있도록 된 새로운 구조의 타이머에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 타이머는 사용자가 상기 상부케이스(11)와 하부케이스(12)를 회전시켜 시간값을 선택하고, 상기 입력수단(62,63,64)을 조작하여 모드를 선택한 후, 선택한 시간값이 인쇄된 면이 상측을 향하도록 본체(10)를 쓰러뜨리면, 자동으로 타이머가 작동되어 선택된 시간이 경과되면 알람(40)이 작동된다. 따라서, 사용자가 시간을 입력하는 것이 매우 편리한 장점이 있다.
