Disclosed are a battery pack with improved cooling performance and an apparatus for cooling the same. The battery pack of the present invention comprises: a housing having an accommodating space therein; a plurality of unit batteries mounted within the housing to be spaced apart from each other at predetermined intervals; a partition wall installed between the unit batteries to divide the accommodating space into a plurality of spaces; and an insulating cooling fluid contained in an accommodating space to impregnate the unit batteries and cooling the unit batteries. Accordingly, even when the housing is tilted within a certain range, the partition wall prevents the insulating cooling fluid from being tilted in one direction to enable the unit batteries to be positioned in the insulating cooling fluid. 냉각 성능이 개선된 배터리 팩 및 배터리 팩 냉각장치가 개시되어 있다. 이 개시된 배터리 팩은 내부에 수용공간을 가지는 하우징과; 상호 소정 간격 이격되게 하우징 내에 실장 되는 복수의 단위 배터리와; 복수의 단위 배터리 사이에 설치되는 것으로, 수용공간을 복수의 공간으로 구획하는 격벽과; 복수의 단위 배터리가 함침 되도록 수용공간에 채워지는 것으로, 복수의 단위 배터리를 냉각시키는 절연냉각유체를 포함한다. 따라서 배터리 팩은 하우징이 소정 범위 이내의 기울어지더라도 격벽에 의하여 절연냉각유체의 일 방향 쏠림을 방지하여 복수의 단위 배터리가 절연냉각유체 내에 위치되도록 할 수 있다.
