A water permeable block technology is disclosed. The water permeable block and a drive method thereof according to an embodiment of the present invention can surface-drain water or rainwater flowing in through a plurality of surface drainage lines on the upper surface of a block body, and discharge water or rainwater permeated through a plurality of infiltration holes on a water-permeation control block, which occupies an empty space in the central area of the block body and is integrated with the block body, to the outside, thereby performing water management with the comprehensive concept related to water or rainwater treatment by adopting and applying a surface drainage method, an infiltration method, and a combination thereof, and preventing damages from sudden blockages, rushes, backflows, and floods caused by sudden changes in flow rate and water pressure. 본 발명은 투수 블록 기술을 개시한다. 즉, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 투수 블록 및 그 구동방법은 블록본체 상면부 상의 다수의 표면배수 라인으로 흘러들어온 유수 또는 우수를 표면 배수케 하고, 블록본체 중앙 영역에 비워둔 공간을 점유함을 이루면서 블록본체와의 결합으로 일체화된 투수조절 블록 상의 다수의 침투홀로 투수된 유수 또는 우수를 외부로 배출케 함으로써, 유수 또는 우수 처리에 관한 포괄적 개념의 물 관리를 표면배수 방식 침투투수 방식 및 이들 모두의 혼합방식을 채택 적용 및 관리하며, 더불어 유량, 수압의 급변화로 인해 돌발적으로 일어나는 막힘현상, 러시현상, 역류현상, 홍수현상에 대한 피해가 발생되지 않도록 미리 준비시킨다.
