Summary:The present invention provides a cobalt hexacynanoferrate (CoFe(CN)_6; CoHCF) cathode active material which can be applied to a sodium-ion battery (Na-ion aqueous battery), and a manufacturing method therefor. The present invention is characterized by controlling mixing time or citrate ion concentration so as to reduce the particle size of CoHCF. CoHCF of the present invention, having a smaller particle size than that of the prior art by reducing mixing time shows results of improving all of the specific capacity, rate and cycle life characteristics. In addition, CoHCF of the present invention improves structural stability by inhibiting the intercalation/deintercalation of Na+ due to the generation of Fe vacancy, thereby showing results of improving rate capability and cycle life characteristics. 본 발명은 나트륨 이온 전지(Na-ion aqueous battery)에 응용할 수 있는 코발트 헥사시아노철산염(CoFe(CN)6; CoHCF) 양극활물질 및 이의 제조방법을 제공하며, 본 발명은 CoHCF의 입자 크기를 감소하기 위해 혼합 시간(mixing time) 또는 시트레이트 이온 농도를 조절하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 혼합 시간(mixing time)을 줄여 종래 기술 대비 작은 입자 크기를 갖는 본 발명의 CoHCF는 비용량, 율속, 수명특성이 모두 향상된 결과를 보였고, 시트레이트 이온 농도를 적게 하여 종래 기술 대비 작은 입자 크기를 갖는 본 발명의 CoHCF는 철 공석(Fe vacancy)의 생성으로 Na+의 격자내 삽입/탈리를 억제하여 구조적 안정성이 향상되며, 이로 인해 율속 특성 및 수명 특성이 향상된 결과를 보였다.
