The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based virtual world realization device for a dead companion animal. The artificial intelligence-based virtual world realization device for a dead companion animal comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires information about a companion animal from a user terminal possessed by a user; a content management unit which generates a character for the companion animal using the acquired information about the companion animal, and generates and manages content is obtained by applying the generated character to a metaverse space; and a control unit which provides the generated content to the user terminal, and controls the display of the content on the user terminal so that interaction between the user and the content displayed on the user terminal can occur according to a control signal of the user. The generated character may be a character of a deceased companion animal of the user implemented in the metaverse space. Therefore, the present invention effectively relieves the sense of loss, sadness, and longing of the user. 인공지능 기반 죽은 반려동물의 가상세계 구현 장치에 관한 것이며, 인공지능 기반 죽은 반려동물의 가상세계 구현 장치는 사용자가 소지한 사용자 단말로부터 반려동물의 정보를 획득하는 획득부; 및 획득된 상기 반려동물의 정보를 이용하여 반려동물의 캐릭터를 생성하고, 상기 생성된 캐릭터를 메타버스 공간에 적용시킨 컨텐츠를 생성하고 관리하는 컨텐츠 관리부; 상기 생성된 컨텐츠를 상기 사용자 단말로 제공하되, 상기 사용자의 제어신호에 따라 상기 사용자 단말에 표출되는 컨텐츠와 사용자 간에 상호작용이 이루어질 수 있도록 상기 사용자 단말에 대한 컨텐츠의 표출을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하고, 상기 생성된 캐릭터는 상기 메타버스 공간에서 구현되는 사용자의 죽은 반려동물의 캐릭터일 수 있다.
