The present invention relates to a limited slip-type differential gear for a vehicle, which can reduce a length of the differential limit unit in a direction of a rotation shaft in substance. The limited slip-type differential gear for a vehicle includes an input case, first and second side gears dynamically fastened to first and second drive shafts, respectively, and a differential limit unit configured to selectively transfer a rotational force of the input case to the second drive shaft. The differential limit unit includes an input shaft, an output shaft, and a clutch assembly configured to be able to selectively implement a rotation power transfer state in which rotation power of the input shaft is transferred to the output shaft and a rotation power transfer release state. The clutch assembly includes a clutch pack including a plurality of first clutch plates and a plurality of second clutch plates, and a power piston assembly configured to pressurize the clutch pack.
