The present invention relates to an earthquake reduction device for a water tank, which provides an energy dissipation capacity at a rubber support, which is installed at a predetermined interval between a fixing frame installed at the lower portion of a water tank main body and the floor surface, and increases damping force, thereby minimizing the vibratory ground motion of the water tank. To this end, the present invention comprises a rubber support which is installed at a predetermined interval between a fixing frame installed at the lower portion of a water tank main body and the floor surface. The rubber support comprises: a first elastic body composed of a vibration damping rubber core; a coupling member which has a hollow portion to which the first elastic body is fit-coupled, and is provided with a coupling groove and a mounting end portion being alternately provided in multiple stages on the outer circumferential surface; and an outer skin member which has a second elastic body, which is provided in multiple stages coming in contact while corresponding to the multistage mounting end portion of the coupling member, being formed on the inside of the outer skin elastic body. The present invention relates to an earthquake reduction device for a water tank, wherein, between the multistage coupling groove of the coupling member and the second elastic body of the outer skin member, a reinforcing plate is individually inserted, such that the coupling member and the outer skin member may be integrally coupled. 본 발명은 물탱크 본체의 하부에 설치되는 고정프레임과 바닥면사이에 소정의 간격을 두고 설치되는 고무받침에 에너지 소산능력을 구비하고 감쇠력을 향상시켜 물탱크의 지진동을 최소화 할 수 있도록 한 물탱크용 지진저감장치에 관한 것이다. 즉, 본 발명은 물탱크 본체의 하부에 설치되는 고정프레임과 바닥면사이에 소정의 간격을 두고 고무받침이 설치되는 구성으로 이루어지되 상기 고무받침은 진동감쇠고무 코어로 이루어진 제1탄성체, 상기 제1탄성체가 끼움 결합되는 중공부가 형성되고 외주면에 결합홈 및 정착단부가 교번적으로 다단 구비되는 결합부재를 포함하며, 상기 결합부재의 다단 정착단부에 대응하여 맞닿는 형태의 다층으로된 제2탄성체가 외피탄성체의 내측에 형성되어 있는 외피부재, 상기 결합부재의 다단 결합홈 및 외피부재의 제2탄성체 사이에 보강판이 각각 끼워져서 결합부재와 외피부재가 일체로 결합되는 물탱크용 지진저감장치를 특징으로 한다.
