Summary:An anti-theft device for a portable computer includes: a device body; a first clamping member rotatably coupled to the device body, configured to support a side of a computer body of the portable computer, and allowing a side edge of a display of the portable computer to be fitted thereto; a slider coupled to the device body to be reciprocally movable; a second clamping member rotatably coupled to the slider while being spaced apart from the first clamping member, configured to support the other side of the computer body of the portable computer, and allowing the other side edge of the display of the portable computer to be fitted thereto; and a locking and unlocking unit installed on the device body and configured to selectively restrict or allow movement of the slider. A portable computer device theft can be prevented. 개시된 본 발명에 따른 휴대용 컴퓨터의 도난방지장치는 장치본체와, 장치본체에 회전 가능하게 결합되고 휴대용 컴퓨터의 컴퓨터본체의 일측부를 지지하는 한편 휴대용 컴퓨터의 디스플레이의 일측테두리가 끼움 결합되는 제1클램핑부재와, 장치본체에 왕복 이동 가능하게 결합되는 슬라이더와, 제1클램핑부재에서 이격된 상태로 슬라이더에 회전 가능하게 결합되고 컴퓨터본체의 타측부를 지지하는 한편 디스플레이의 타측테두리가 끼움 결합되는 제2클램핑부재와, 장치본체에 설치되어 슬라이더의 움직임을 선택적으로 제한하거나 허용하는 로킹 및 해제유닛을 포함한다.
