According to the present invention, disclosed is a steel plate safety transfer device including a vacuum suction unit and a transfer member for transferring an iron plate by vacuum adsorption on the surface of the iron plate. The vacuum suction unit includes: a vacuum suction pad for vacuum adsorption on the surface of the iron plate; and an air intake member connected to the vacuum suction pad to suck air. The vacuum suction pad includes: a sponge having a microporous structure and capable of being deformed according to the shape of an iron plate; and a suction hole composed of a hollow part inside the sponge.
