Summary: | The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for improving power generation efficiency of a multi-string inverter. In particular, the apparatus and method for improving power generation efficiency of a multi-string inverter may improve generation efficiency by operating in a global maximum power point (GMPP), not in a local maximum power point (LMPP), as reduction in generation efficiency is caused by operating in the LMPP during a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) process of the multi-string inverter when a solar cell array is shaded.
본 발명은 멀티스트링 인버터의 발전효율 향상 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 태양전지 어레이에 음영이 발생하는 경우 멀티스트링 인버터의 최대 전력 점 추적(MPPT: Maximum Power Point Tracking) 과정 중에 로컬 최대 전력 점(LMPP: Local Maximum Power Point)에서 동작함으로 인해 발전효율 감소를 야기하기 때문에, LMPP에서 동작하지 않고 전역 최대 전력점(GMPP: Global Maximum Power Point)에서 동작하게 하여 발전효율을 향상시킬 수 있는, 멀티스트링 인버터의 발전효율 향상 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. |
