The present invention relates to a gayageum for education. The gayageum comprises: a body member (110) having a bottom plate (111) having a sound hole (112) formed therein to emit a playing sound resulting from performance of the gayageum, and a plurality of side plates (114) provided at the edges of the bottom plate (111), respectively; an upper plate member (130) having an upper plate body (131) formed on the upper surfaces of the side plates (114) to have a size larger than that of the bottom plate (111), and a plurality of bridges (136) mounted on the upper plate body (131); and strings (151) mounted on the upper surfaces of the bridges (136), string winding units (152) rotatably installed on one of the side plates (114) to wind ends of the strings (151), and a string adjustment member (150) coupled to the string winding units (152) to rotate the string winding units (152). Therefore, the gayageum for education enables students or trainees to play the gayageum while placing the same on a desk or the like, can have a small size, thereby being easily carried and easily securing storage space, and allows the string winding units, installed on the sides of the strings, to be adjusted by a string adjustment unit, thereby facilitating tuning of the strings. 본 발명은 교육용 가야금에 관한 것으로, 가야금의 연주에 따른 연주음이 발산될 수 있게 울림공(112)이 형성된 바닥판(111)과, 상기 바닥판(111)의 가장자리에 각각 다수의 측면판(114)이 구비된 본체부재(110); 상기 측면판(114)의 상면에 상기 바닥판(111)의 크기보다 큰 크기로 형성된 상판본체(131)와, 상기 상판본체(131)에 거치되는 다수의 안족(136)이 구비된 상판부재(130); 상기 안족(136)의 상면에 거치되는 현(151)과, 상기 현(151)의 일단을 감아둘 수 있게 상기 측면판(114)의 일면에 회전 가능하게 설치되는 현감김유닛(152)과, 상기 현감김유닛(152)에 결합되어 상기 현감김유닛(152)을 회전시킬 수 있도록 구비되는 현조절부재(150);를 마련하여 학생 또는 연습생이 가야금을 책상 등에 올려 놓은 상태에서 가야금 연주를 할 수 있고, 크기가 작아 휴대가 용이할 뿐만 아니라 보관에 따른 공간 확보가 용이하며, 현의 일측에 설치된 현감김유닛을 현조절유닛에 의해 현의 조율을 용이하게 할 수 있다는 효과가 얻어진다.
