The space monitoring system may include an information generation unit, a database construction unit, and a space situation determination unit. 본 발명은 음향 신호를 이용한 공간 감시 시스템 및 공간 감시 방법에 대한 것이다. 본 발명은 감시 대상 공간에 대한 상황을 쉽고, 빠르고, 정확하게 판단할 수 있도록 공간의 주파수 응답 및 관련 데이터를 정리하여 데이터 베이스를 구축하는 기술과 이를 이용하여 공간 감시를 수행하는 기술을 제시한다.
