The present invention relates to a composition for anti-fatigue or for enhancing endurance and a composition for preventing or for treating a muscle disease comprising Limonium tetragonum extract, wherein the Limonium tetragonum extract of the present invention increases an endurance through an increase of a motor ability of a mouse, increases a type 1 muscular fiber, advances/improves a new generation and function of mitochondria, and develops a muscle through muscle regeneration, thereby being used as a usage for anti-fatigue, enhancing endurance, and improving a motor ability, and being used as a usage for preventing or treating muscle diseases. 본 발명은 갯질경 추출물을 포함하는 항피로용 또는 지구력 증강용 조성물, 및 근육 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 갯질경 추출물은 마우스의 운동 능력 증가를 통해 지구력을 증가시키며, 제1형 근섬유를 증가시키고, 미토콘드리아의 신생 및 기능을 향상/개선시키며, 근육 신생을 통해 근육을 발달시키므로, 이를 항피로, 지구력 증강 및 운동수행능력 향상 용도로 이용할 수 있으며, 근육 질환의 예방 또는 치료 용도로도 활용할 수 있다.
