The present invention relates to an industrial accident prevention system and a method, and more specifically, to a system and method, which determine the availability of a worker by grasping a worker's physical and mental health condition and clothing condition. The industrial accident prevention system includes: a primary examination device which collects primary examination information of the worker; a secondary examination device for collecting secondary examination information of the worker; clothing inspection device for collecting the clothing information of the worker; opening and closing devices installed at the entrance and exit of a workplace; a scanner installed in the opening/closing device; and a control server which determines whether the worker can work based on the primary examination, the secondary examination information, and the clothing information. 본 발명은 산업재해예방시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로는 근로자의 신체적, 정신적 건강상태와 복장상태를 파악하여 근로자의 근로가능여부를 판단할 수 있는 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
