Provided are a method and a system for providing gas consumption compared with a previous month based on a temperature correction value. The method for providing gas consumption compared with a previous month based on temperature correction according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: a gas consumption providing system rectifying gas consumption data for each household; the gas consumption providing system extracting a temperature correction function using the rectified gas consumption data for each household; and the gas consumption providing system calculating gas consumption using the extracted temperature correction function. Accordingly, gas consumption compared to a previous month can be provided to enable a user to immediately feel an increase or decrease in the gas consumption through temperature correction.
