Summary:The present invention relates to a filament winding method and a pressure vessel manufactured thereby. The method comprises the steps of: (a) forming a first pattern layer by winding a fiber-reinforced composite on an outer circumferential surface of a liner; (b) forming a second pattern layer by winding a fiber-reinforced composite material on an upper surface of the first pattern layer to form a first composite material layer; and (c) forming a first pattern layer on an upper surface of the first composite material layer and forming a second pattern layer on an upper surface of the first composite material layer to form a second composite material layer, wherein the composite material layer is repeatedly formed according to equation 1 below. [Equation 1] C_N =< 5, where C_N is the total number of composite layers.
