The present invention relates to a device for connecting an electric wire and, more specifically, to an electric wire connection device capable of simply connecting an electric wire without the risk of an electric shock accident, and preventing a short circuit caused by water or moisture after the connection of the wire. The device includes: a lower cover including a first seating part having a first electric wire disposed at one end and a second electric wire disposed at the other end opposite to the one end; an upper cover coupled with the lower cover to receive the first and second electric wires, and including a second seating part formed on a position corresponding to the first seating part; an electric wire connection member located in the second seating part of the upper cover to electrically connect the first and second electric wires with each other; a curable gel bag disposed in the first seating part and including a curable gel fixing the first and second electric wires; and a pressing device applying pressure to the electric wire connection member. The lower cover is formed in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the first electric wire and the second electric wire, while formed in a direction surrounding the first electric wire and the second electric wire, and includes a first waterproof groove formed in the first eating part while formed to be adjacent to each of one end and the other end of the seating part, and storing a curable gel to prevent the permeation of the moisture, and the upper cover includes a second waterproof groove formed in the second seating part on the position corresponding to the first waterproof groove, while formed to be adjacent to each of one end and the other end of the second seating part, and storing the curable gel to prevent the permeation of the moisture.
