The present invention relates to a chair armrest capable of adjusting the height of an armrest stage by stage through simple components. To achieve the purpose, in accordance with the present invention, the chair armrest includes: a fixing member having a hollow part formed to be opened upward; an elevating member having a lower part inserted into the hollow part to be elevated; and an operating member provided inside the elevating member to fix the height of the elevating member stage by stage. The operating member includes: an operating rod; support protrusions formed in the center of one side of the operating rod to be supported on the inner surface of the elevating member such that the upper and lower parts of the operating rod can seesaw; and an engaged protrusion protruding from the lower part of one side of the operating rod to selectively pass through a through hole formed on the lower side of one side of the elevating member during the seesaw motion of the operating rod. The fixing member includes: stepped grooves disposed vertically on the surface of one side; a plurality of step adjustment holes arranged in a line in the stepped grooves such that the protrusions can be selectively inserted; an upper coupling hole formed in an inner upper part of the stepped grooves; and a lower coupling hole formed in an inner lower part of the stepped grooves. The engaged protrusion of the operating member is inserted into one of the plurality of step adjustment holes to be located therein, while being through the through hole such that the height of the elevating member with respect to the fixing member can be adjusted stage by step. 본 발명은 간단한 구성으로 팔걸이의 높이를 단계적으로 조절할 수 있도록 하는 의자용 팔걸이에 관한 것이다. 이를 위한 본 발명의 의자용 팔걸이는, 상부로 개방된 중공부가 형성된 고정부재, 하부가 상기 중공부에 삽입되어 승강이 가능한 승강부재, 및 상기 승강부재의 내부에 구비되어 상기 승강부재의 높이를 단계적으로 고정하는 작동부재를 포함하여 구성된 의자용 팔걸이에 있어서, 상기 작동부재는, 작동로드, 상기 작동로드의 상하부가 시소운동이 가능하도록 상기 작동로드의 일측 중심부에 형성되어 상기 승강부재의 내면에 지지되는 받침돌기, 상기 작동로드의 시소운동 시 상기 승강부재의 일측 하부에 형성된 관통공을 선택적으로 관통하도록 상기 작동로드의 일측 하부에 돌출되어 형성된 걸림돌기를 포함하고, 상기 고정부재는, 일측 표면에 상하로 배치되어 형성된 단차홈, 상기 걸림돌기가 선택적으로 삽입하도록 상기 단차홈에 일렬로 배열된 복수의 단계조절홀, 상기 단차홈의 내측 상부에 형성된 상부체결공, 상기 단차홈의 내측 하부에 형성된 하부체결공을 포함하며, 상기 작동부재의 걸림돌기가 상기 관통공을 관통한 상태로 상기 복수의 단계조절홀 중 어느 하나에 삽입되어 위치함에 따라 상기 고정부재에 대한 상기 승강부재의 높이가 단계적으로 조절되도록 구성된다.
