Summary:A rotary compressor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a cylinder having an annular inner circumferential surface to form a compression space; a roller formed with a plurality of vane slots at predetermined intervals along an outer circumferential surface, and inserted into the compression space of the cylinder to rotate; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the vane slot to rotate together with the roller and partitioning the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers, wherein at least some of the plurality of vane slots may be formed at equal intervals along the circumferential direction. Through this, a periodicity of noise can be weakened to increase a noise attenuation effect of the compressor. 본 실시예에 의한 로터리 압축기는, 압축공간을 형성하도록 내주면이 환형으로 형성되는 실린더; 복수의 베인슬롯이 외주면을 따라 기설정된 간격을 두고 형성되며, 상기 실린더의 압축공간에 삽입되어 회전하는 롤러; 및 상기 롤러와 함께 회전하도록 상기 베인슬롯에 미끄러지게 삽입되며, 상기 압축공간을 복수 개의 압축실로 구획하는 복수의 베인을 포함하고, 상기 복수의 베인슬롯은, 적어도 일부가 원주방향을 따라 비등간격으로 형성될 수 있다. 이를 통해, 소음의 주기성을 약화시켜 압축기의 소음감쇄효과를 높일 수 있다.
