The present invention clusters entire inputted document data for each document, and classifies the document data by calculating a degree of similarity between one or more representative documents automatically extracted for each clustered document and all inputted document data. 유사도 기반의 문서 분류 장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명은 입력된 전체 문서 데이터를 문서 별로 군집화하고, 군집화된 문서 별로 자동 추출된 하나 이상의 대표 문서와 입력된 전체 문서 데이터의 유사도를 산출하여 문서 데이터를 분류할 수 있다.
