Abstract | According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a robot for transporting an object comprises: a driving unit configured to be moved along a driving path; a base supported by the driving unit and configured to load at least one object therein; a guide attached to a first surface of the inside of the base; a gripper gripping the object and configured to be movable along the guide in a perpendicular direction to the ground surface; and a control unit configured to control a motion of the driving unit and the gripper.
