Summary:According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a robot for transporting an object comprises: a driving unit configured to be moved along a driving path; a base supported by the driving unit and configured to load at least one object therein; a guide attached to a first surface of the inside of the base; a gripper gripping the object and configured to be movable along the guide in a perpendicular direction to the ground surface; and a control unit configured to control a motion of the driving unit and the gripper. 본 개시의 일 실시예에 따른 물체를 운반하기 위한 로봇으로써, 주행 경로를 따라 이동하도록 구성된 주행부, 주행부에 의해 지지되고, 내측에 적어도 하나의 물체를 적재할 수 있도록 구성된 베이스, 베이스의 내측 제1 면에 부착된 가이드, 물체를 파지하고, 가이드를 따라 지면과 수직 방향으로 이동 가능하도록 구성된 그리퍼(gripper), 및 주행부와 그리퍼의 동작을 제어하도록 구성된 제어부를 포함한다.
