A grinding device for drawing a wire rod according to the present invention is configured to grind a surface of a wire rod supplied to a drawing unit which reduces the thickness of the wire rod using dies through which the wire rod can pass. The grinding device for drawing a wire rod comprises: a fixed frame; a rotating frame; a power transmission unit which provides rotational force to the rotating frame; and an abrasive material. The rotating frame includes: a pair of rotating blocks with a rotating block hole through which the wire rod can pass; and a connection stand for connecting the pair of rotating blocks so that the pair of rotating blocks are connected while being spaced apart from each other. The rotating frame is installed on the fixed frame so as to rotate around the rotation center shaft parallel to a transfer direction of the wire rod that passes through the pair of rotating blocks. The abrasive material includes a grinding part which is in contact with the surface of the wire rod that passes through the pair of rotating blocks to grind the surface of the wire rod. The abrasive material is coupled to the connection stand so that the grinding part is placed parallel to the transfer direction of the wire rod.
