The present invention relates to an upward/lateral mixture type air supply and exhaust hood. In order to efficiently increase an exhaust area for a cooking space as well as maximize exhaust efficiency by forming an exhaust collection path of exhaust gas to be more suitable for exhaust, the upward/lateral mixture type air supply and exhaust hood includes: a hood body installed in an upper part of the cooking space in which cooking articles are placed, and including an exhaust port provided to suction exhaust gas from the cooking space to exhaust the gas to the outside, and an air supply port provided to supply combustion air used for combustion to the cooking space; and an air curtain means forming an air wall on an outer part of the cooking space spraying the air from a lower part of the hood body to a floor surface of the cooking space to cut off the circulation of the air. The exhaust port is formed with an inclined direction which becomes more upward while becoming closer from the rear of the cooking space to the front thereof, to increase an exhaust suction area. 본 발명은, 조리공간에 대한 배기면적을 효율적으로 증대함은 물론, 배기가스의 배기포집경로를 배기에 더욱 적합하도록 형성하여 배기효율을 극대화하도록; 조리물품이 배치된 조리공간의 상부에 시설되며 상기 조리공간의 배기가스를 흡입하여 외부로 배기하도록 된 배기구와, 상기 조리공간으로 연속시 사용되는 연소공기를 공급하도록 된 급기구가 구비된 후드본체와; 상기 후드본체의 하부에서 상기 조리공간의 바닥면측 방향으로 공기를 분사하는 상기 조리공간의 외부에 에어벽을 형성하여 공기의 유통을 차단하도록 된 에어커튼수단;을 포함하여 이루어지는 상향 및 측방향 혼합형 급배기후드에 있어서; 상기 배기구는, 상기 조리공간의 후방에서 전방으로 갈수록 상향된 경사방향을 가지면서 형성되어 배기흡입면적을 증대하도록 된 상향 및 측방향 혼합형 급배기후드를 제공한다.
