Summary:The present invention relates to a bioassay method for screening a cellulose biosynthesis inhibitor. A novel bioassay method, according to the present invention, is configured to use a non-transformed wild-type plant seed or plant body in screening and testing a cellulose biosynthesis inhibitor so that testing can be easily conducted by a simpler method compared to a testing method using a transgenic organism. In addition, it is possible to confirm the cellulose biosynthesis inhibitor (CBI) in a single experiment on the basis of the expressed unique symptoms so that compared to a conventional testing method that is conducted through measurement of physiological activities, the present invention has the effect of improving testing efficiency and simplifying costs and procedures. Through this, high-efficiency screening for cellulose biosynthesis inhibitors (CBI) from a number of compounds is possible, and thus, the present invention can greatly contribute to reducing the development time and cost of related novel herbicides. 본 발명은 셀룰로오스 생합성 저해제 탐색을 위한 생물 검정법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 신규 생물 검정법은 셀룰로오스 생합성 저해제의 탐색 및 검정에 있어, 비형질전환 야생형(wild-type) 식물 종자(seed) 또는 식물체를 이용하기 때문에, 형질전환체를 이용한 검정 방법에 비해 보다 간단한 방법으로 쉽게 검정이 가능한 효과가 있다. 또한, 발현되는 독특한 증상을 기준으로 셀룰로오스 생합성 저해제(CBI)를 일회 실험으로 확인 가능하여, 종래 생리활성 측정을 통한 검정법 대비 검정효율성 제고, 비용 및 절차의 간소화 효과가 있다. 이를 통해 다수의 화합물로부터 셀룰로오스 생합성 저해제(CBI)의 고효율 탐색이 가능하며, 관련된 신규 제초제의 개발 시간 및 비용을 절감시키는데 크게 기여할 수 있다.
