Disclosed in the present invention are a medium composition for detecting drug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and a kit for detecting drug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis by using same. The medium composition and the kit according to the present invention do not inhibit the proliferation (growth) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, allow the boundaries of colonies of the proliferated drug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis to be clear, and allow the color of colonies of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to be in complementary contrast with that of the medium composition, thereby enabling the colonies of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to be easily, conveniently and accurately counted and detected with the naked eye. 본 발명에서는 약제내성 결핵균 검출용 배지 조성물 및 이를 이용한 약제내성 결핵균 검출 키트가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 배지 조성물 및 키트는 결핵균의 증식(성장)의 저해가 없고 증식된 약제내성 결핵균의 집락의 경계가 분명하고 결핵균의 집락 색상이 배지 조성물과 보색대비 되어서, 육안으로 쉽게, 간편하게 그리고 정확하게 결핵균의 집락을 계수하여 검출할 수 있다.
