A method for manufacturing a probe needle in accordance with the present invention, as manufacturing a probe needle for inspection of a subject on a substrate, comprises: a step of forming a pattern layer on the surface of a substrate except for a first exposed region and a second exposed region of the substrate; a step of forming a seed layer on the pattern layer, the first exposed region, and the second exposed region; a step of forming a needle layer having a tip portion disposed on the first exposed region and a body portion disposed on the second exposed region on the seed layer; a step of coating the tip portion with a conductive material by removing the material of the first exposed region; a step of coating the body portion with an insulating material by removing the material of the second exposed region; and a step of separating the needle layer from the substrate by removing the seed layer. Accordingly, it is possible to highly integrate the probe needle manufactured on the substrate. 본 발명에 따른 프로브 니들을 제조하는 방법은, 피검사체의 검사를 위한 프로프 니들을 기판 상에서 제조하는 것으로서, 상기 기판의 제1 노출 영역과 제2 노출 영역을 제외하고 상기 기판의 표면에 패턴 레이어를 형성하는 단계; 상기 패턴 레이어, 상기 제1 노출 영역 및 상기 제2 노출 영역 상에 시드 레이어를 형성하는 단계; 상기 시드 레이어 상에 상기 제1 노출 영역 상에 배치되는 팁부 및 상기 제2 노출 영역 상에 배치되는 몸통부를 구비하는 니들 레이어를 형성하는 단계; 상기 제1 노출 영역의 재료를 제거하여 상기 팁부에 도전 물질을 코팅하는 단계; 상기 제2 노출 영역의 재료를 제거하여 상기 몸통부에 절연 물질을 코팅하는 단계; 및 상기 시드 레이어를 제거하여 상기 기판으로부터 상기 니들 레이어를 분리하는 단계를 포함한다.
