The present invention aims to provide a smart recycling device which is able to induce the separated collection of waste and automatically collect waste. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the smart recycling device comprises: a booth which has a collection box inside, and in which, on a front surface unit, an openable door is placed; a plate placed on an upper side of the collection box of the booth, having an opening; a cover which closes the opening, and whose one side edge is engaged with the plate by a hinge, and which is tilted by an actuator to open/close the opening; a proximity sensor placed on the plate to detect an object placed on a lower side of the cover; a load cell placed on the cover to measure the weight of an object settled on the cover; a metal sensor placed on the cover to analyze the object settled on the cover; a camera placed on an upper side of the cover to photograph the object settled on the cover; and a control box which includes a communication module, which transmits the distance information acquired by the proximity sensor, and a control module which analyzes the weight information acquired by the load cell, the information analyzed by the metal sensor, and the image information photographed by the camera, and determines whether to tilt the cover or not. 쓰레기의 분리수거를 유도하며, 쓰레기를 자동으로 수거하는 스마트 분리수거 장치를 제공하는 것이다. 실시예에 따른 스마트 분리수거 장치는, 내부에 수거함이 구비되고, 전면부에 개폐 가능한 도어가 구비되는 부스; 부스의 수거함의 상측에 위치되고 개구가 형성된 플레이트; 개구를 폐쇄하고 플레이트에 일측 가장자리가 힌지결합되되, 액추에이터에 의해 틸트되면서 개구를 개폐하는 커버; 플레이트에 구비되고, 커버의 하측에 위치하는 물체를 감지하는 근접센서; 커버에 구비되고, 커버에 안착된 물체의 무게를 측정하는 로드셀; 커버에 구비되고, 커버에 안착된 물체를 분석하는 금속감지센서; 커버의 상측에 구비되고, 커버에 안착된 물체를 촬영하는 카메라; 및 근접센서를 통해 획득된 거리 정보를 전송하는 통신모듈과, 로드셀로 획득된 무게 정보와 금속감지센서로 분석된 정보 및 카메라로 촬영된 영상 정보를 분석하여, 커버의 틸트 여부를 결정하는 제어모듈이 구비된 컨트롤박스;를 포함한다.
