The present invention relates to a weft guide unit (200) for rapier looms, which transfers a flat weft yarn (F) to a conveying unit (100) sequentially entering and exiting from side to side to cross and reciprocate left and right between warps vertically performing an opening/closing movement. According to the present invention, the weft guide unit (200) comprises: a guide block (210) fixedly disposed on the left side facing the conveying unit (100) and allowing the weft yarn (F) to be flatly mounted thereon; a guide pin (220) mounted on the upper end of the guide block (210) to move from side to side and entering and exiting the conveying unit (100) to perform an opening/closing movement to grip the weft yarn (F); a guide plate (230) intermittently moving left and right along the guide pin (220) at the upper end of the guide block (210) and pulling the weft yarn (F) to the right side to introduce the same into the conveying unit (100); and a driving unit (240) fixedly disposed on the left side of the guide block (210) and connected to the guide pin (220) to apply a left and right movement force. Accordingly, as the weft guide unit transfers weft to a correct position by linking with the conveying unit and automatically opens and closes the conveying unit so that the weft is gripped during a transfer process, an existing separate opener to open and close the conveying unit can be omitted, thereby increasing weaving speed and reducing costs required for manufacturing and maintenance. 본 발명은 상하로 개구 운동하는 경사들 사이를 가로지르며 좌우로 왕복 운동하는 운반유닛(100)으로 편평한 위사(F)를 전달하는 래피어 직기용 위사 안내유닛(200)에 관한 것으로, 상기 운반유닛(210)과 서로 마주보는 좌측에 고정 배치되고, 상기 위사(F)를 편평하게 안착시키는 안내블록(210); 상기 안내블록(210)의 상단에 좌우로 이동 가능하게 장착되고, 상기 운반유닛(100)으로 진입출하여 위사(F)가 파지되게 개폐 운동시키는 안내핀(220); 상기 안내블록(210)의 상단에 안내핀(220)을 따라 좌우로 간헐 이동하고, 상기 위사(F)를 우측으로 당겨 운반유닛(100)내에 인입시키는 안내판(230); 상기 안내블록(100)의 좌측에 고정 배치되고, 상기 안내핀(220)과 연결되어 좌우 이동력을 부가하는 구동부(240);를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서 본 발명은 본 발명은 운반유닛과 연동하여 정확한 위치에 위사를 전달해주면서도 전달과정에서 위사가 파지되게 운반유닛을 자동 개폐해줌에 따라 기존의 운반유닛을 개폐시키는 별도의 오프너를 생략할 수 있어 제직속도 향상과 함께 제작과 유지관리에 소요되는 비용을 절감할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
