Summary: | The present invention relates to a high-pressure fuel pump and a liquid petroleum direct injection (LPDI) system to which the same is applied. According to the present invention, the high-pressure fuel pump comprises: a body having a suction port and a discharge port formed on the side, and a pressurizing means for pressurizing a portion of the fuel supplied through the suction port to a high pressure therein; a flow control valve coupled to one side of the body and controlling the supply flow rate and discharge pressure of the fuel; and a cover coupled to an upper portion of the body and having a recovery port configured to recover some of the fuel supplied into the body to a bombe. The cover has a configuration formed in an upwardly convex dome shape to collect gaseous fuel, i.e. vapor, generated by the heat of an engine when the engine is turned off after driving, and collects it in the bombe when restarting, thereby improving restartability.
고압연료펌프 및 그가 적용된 직접분사식 엘피아이 시스템에 관한 것으로, 측면에 흡입구와 토출구가 형성되고, 내부에 상기 흡입구를 통해 공급되는 연료 중에서 일부를 고압으로 가압하는 가압수단이 마련되는 바디, 상기 바디의 일측에 결합되고 연료의 공급 유량 및 토출 압력을 제어하는 유량제어밸브 및 상기 바디의 상부에 결합되고, 상기 바디 내부로 공급된 연료 중 일부를 봄베로 회수하는 회수구가 형성되는 커버를 포함하고, 상기 커버는 상방으로 볼록한 돔 형상으로 형성되는 구성을 마련하여, 주행 후 시동 오프시 엔진의 열에 의해 발생하는 기상 연료, 즉 베이퍼를 포집하여 재시동시 봄베로 회수함으로써, 재시동성을 향상시킬 수 있다. |
