The present invention relates to a piezoelectric ultrasonic wave generating device and, more specifically, to a piezoelectric ultrasonic wave generating device comprising: a piezoelectric unit; and a vibration plate formed on a peripheral region of a side surface of the piezoelectric unit while making at least one portion come in contact with the piezoelectric unit, wherein vibration applied from the piezoelectric unit is transferred in a traverse direction or in a radial direction from a virtual axis which penetrates up and down through the center of the piezoelectric unit. According to the present invention, an ultrasonic wave generator is manufactured in a rod shape, thereby generating ultrasonic waves radially from a side surface and irradiating arbitrary objects to be washed with the ultrasonic waves in a portable way without being attached to a washing tank. In other words, the present invention is made separate from and independent of the washing tank regardless of shape, size and material of the object to be washed (liquid mixture), and enables a user to use an arbitrary washing tank according to the kind, the size and the capacity of the object to be washed. 본 발명은 압전 초음파 발생장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 압전부; 상기 압전부와 적어도 일부분이 접촉하면서 상기 압전부의 측면 외곽에 형성되는 진동판;을 포함하며, 압전부로부터 인가되는 진동이 압전부의 중심을 상하로 관통하는 가상의 축을 중심으로 횡방향 또는 방사방향으로 전파되는 것을 특징으로 하는 압전 초음파 발생장치를 제공한다. 이상과 같은 본 발명에 따르면, 초음파 발생기가 봉 형태로 제작됨으로써 초음파가 측면에서 방사상으로 발생되도록 하였으며, 세척조에 부착할 필요없이 portable 형태로 임의의 피세척물에 초음파를 조사할 수 있는 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 즉, 본 발명은 피세척물(액체 혼합물)의 형상, 크기, 물질에 관계없이 세척조와 분리 독립적으로 만들어 세척조는 사용자가 세척물의 종류, 크기, 용량에 따라 임의의 세척조를 사용하도록 하게 하는 것이다.
