The present invention relates to an auxiliary wheel for a lawn mower, including: an installation unit coupled to the body of the lawn mower; a rotating unit coupled to the installation unit to be rotatable in one direction and the other direction; a wheel unit connected to the rotating unit and rotating together with the rotating unit; and a fixing unit installed on the outside of the installation unit to fix the rotating unit while being rotated in the other direction. When the wheel unit is rotated in one direction, the body comes in contact with the ground. When the wheel unit is rotated in the other direction, the body is spaced from the ground. 본 발명은 잔디 깎기 기계의 본체에 결합된 설치유닛; 상기 설치유닛에 일방향 및 타방향으로 회동 가능하게 결합된 회동유닛; 상기 회동유닛에 연결되어 상기 회동유닛과 함께 회동되는 휠유닛; 및 상기 설치유닛의 외부에 설치되어 상기 회동유닛을 상기 타방향으로 회동된 상태로 고정하는 고정유닛을 포함하고, 상기 휠유닛이 상기 일방향으로 회동되었을 때 상기 본체가 지면에 밀착되며, 상기 휠유닛이 상기 타방향으로 회동되었을 때 상기 본체가 지면으로부터 이격되는 잔디 깎기 기계용 보조바퀴에 관한 것이다.
