Summary:Disclosed are an electrode for preventing a welding agent from exposing to a surface, and a xenon flash lamp having the same. According to one disclosed embodiment of the present invention, the electrode of the xenon flash lamp comprises: a mount constituting a body of an electrode; and an electrode tip welded with the mounted at a front end of the mount. The mount is provided on a surface of the front end of the mount. The mount includes a welding agent housing groove provided to house a welding agent when the mount and the electrode tip are welded. 전극 및 이를 구비하는 제논 플래쉬 램프가 개시된다. 개시되는 일 실시예에 따른 전극은, 제논 플래쉬 램프의 전극으로서, 전극의 몸체를 구성하는 마운트, 마운트의 전단에서 마운트와 용접되는 전극 선단을 포함하며, 마운트는, 마운트의 전단 표면에 마련되고, 마운트와 전극 선단의 용접 시 용접제가 수용되도록 마련되는 용접제 수용홈을 포함한다.
