Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a catalyst. According to the present invention, it is possible to manufacture a catalyst, a tin-based catalyst compound, which is eco-friendly since the compound does not contain eight toxic end groups, and has high catalytic efficiency, excellent workability, and excellent process flexibility. By using the tin-based catalyst compound for manufacturing a polyurethane resin, a polyurethane resin having excellent properties can be manufactured. The method for manufacturing the tin-based catalyst compound comprises a first step of forming a composition for manufacturing a catalyst by conducting reaction of 35 wt% of dimethyltin dichloride(C_2H_6Cl_2Sn), 40 wt% of di-n-octyltin oxide, and 25 wt% of neodecanoic acid(C_10H_20O_2) solution at a temperature of 100°C for one hour; a second step of conducting vacuum distillation of the composition and removing water from a resultant product; and a third step of filtering the resultant product.
