The present invention relates to an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory composition comprising a Hibiscus syriacus callus extract as an active ingredient. Since the composition comprising the Hibiscus syriacus callus extract of the present invention exhibits a broad antimicrobial spectrum against various harmful bacteria and acne causing bacteria, the composition of the present invention can be applied to various bacterial infections caused by harmful bacteria.
