Summary: | An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing carbonate comprising following steps of: (a) mixing sodium sulfate in industrial wastewater generated in a salt purification process to precipitate and separate calcium sulfate; (b) conducting a reaction of the calcium sulfate with carbon dioxide; and (c) separating and purifying carbonate in a product of the step (b).
