Summary:According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a beamforming antenna based on a thin artificial magnetic conductor robust to contact with metal adjacency. The beamforming antenna comprises: a printed dipole array antenna coupled with an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC); and a beamforming network coupled to the printed dipole array antenna to form multiple beams. The beamforming antenna has strong impedance matching characteristics and antenna radiation pattern characteristics robust to the surrounding environment such as metal elements or human body, can lower a specific absorption rate (SAR), which is the human influence index, and can perform beamforming and beam steering. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 금속 인접과 접촉에 강건한 얇은 인공자기도체 기반 빔 포밍 안테나는, 인공자기도체(AMC: artificial magnetic conductor)와 결합된 프린티드 다이폴 배열 안테나; 및 상기 프린티드 다이폴 배열 안테나에 연결되고, 다중 빔을 형성하기 위한 빔 포밍 네트워크를 포함하여, 금속 요소나 인체와 같은 주변 환경에 강건한 임피던스 정합 특성과 안테나 방사 패턴 특성을 가지며 인체영향지수인 전자파 흡수율(SAR: Specific Absorption Rate)을 낮출 수 있고, 빔 포밍과 빔 조향이 가능하다.
