Abstract | The present invention relates to an underground hole monitoring system, which comprises: a track formed in the entire area of an underground hole where a power line or a communication line is arranged; and a monitoring robot moving along the track and monitoring the abnormality and fire of the power line or the communication line. The monitoring robot includes: a horizontally formed robot body; a tractor coupled to the robot body to form driving force to move the robot body along the track; a fire extinguisher provided in the robot body; a monitoring box provided in the robot body for sensing environmental information in the underground hole; and a monitoring arm unit having a thermal imaging camera coupled to a lower portion of the tractor and proximately photographing the power line or the communication line, and a fire extinguishing nozzle injecting extinguishing fluid into the power line and the communication line in which a fire is generated at a temperature sensor.
