Summary:The present invention relates to an emergency patient notification system using a beacon in which a terminal receives a beacon signal transmitted by the beacon to notify an emergency situation to a doctor, or automatically reports the emergency situation to a medical institution or a safety reporting center, and to a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the emergency patient notification system comprises: a beacon transmitting a beacon signal for calling a doctor in charge of a patient in accordance with a condition of the patient; and a terminal receiving the beacon signal and analyzing information included in the beacon signal. The beacon signal includes at least one of a unique ID of the doctor in charge of the patient, a room ID of the patient, and the condition of the patient. 본 발명은 병원의 내부 또는 외부에 응급 환자 발생시 비콘이 송신한 비콘 신호를 단말이 수신하여 의사에게 응급 상황을 알리거나, 의료기관 또는 안전신고센터로 자동 신고하는 응급 환자 알림 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 응급 환자 알림 시스템 및 방법은 환자의 상태에 따라 상기 환자의 담당 의사를 호출하기 위한 비콘 신호를 송신하는 비콘과, 상기 비콘 신호를 수신하여 상기 비콘 신호에 포함된 정보를 분석하는 단말을 포함하고, 상기 비콘 신호는 상기 환자의 담당 의사의 고유 ID, 상기 환자의 병실 ID 및 상기 환자의 상태 중 적어도 하나의 정보를 포함한다.
