Summary:The present invention relates to a splash prevention apparatus for continuous casting and a splash prevention method for continuous casting using the same, wherein inert gas is injected to an upper portion of a mold for continuous casting by a gas injection nozzle unit located between the mold for continuous casting and a steel-tapping nozzle of a tundish to prevent splash by reoxidation in the upper portion of the mold in case of continuous casting. Therefore, working stability and workability can be increased. Moreover, a number of usages of the tundish can be increased to reduce production costs. In addition, impurities inserted into the mold can be reduced to increase quality of semi-finished products produced by continuous casting. 본 발명은 연속 주조용 스플래시 방지 장치와 이를 이용한 연속 주조용 스플래시 방지 방법에 관한 것으로 연속 주조용 몰드와 턴디쉬의 출강 노즐 사이에 위치되는 가스 분사노즐부로 연속 주조용 몰드의 상부 측으로 불활성 가스를 분사하여 연속주조 시 몰드의 상부에서 재산화에 의한 스플래시를 방지하여 조업 안전성과 작업성을 향상시키고, 턴디쉬의 사용 횟수를 증가시켜 생산 원가를 절감할 수 있고, 몰드 내부로 투입되는 불순물의 감소로 연속 주조로 생산되는 반제품의 품질을 향상시킨다.
